Korus System
The KORUS system was created with the aim to provide the surgeon with complete and reliable solutions for an increasingly personalized surgery.
The system includes: KORUS, two UNCEMENTED MODELS with CCD 135° and 125° angles, CEMENTED KORUS, also available with a DISTAL CENTRALIZER and MODULAR KORUS, provided with 14 interchangeable necks.- Available with or without distal centralizer.

Straight cemented stem
- Available with or without distal centralizer;
- Same instrumentation as uncemented KORUS;
- The stem is in compliance with European standards, having approved 12/14 morse taper (5°42’30’’);
- Proximal trapezoid section resists axial torsional stresses and facilitates osseointegration;
- Threaded extraction hole.
- Low trochanteric invasivity, easier insertion and reduced incision, especially with an anterior approach;
- Skinny neck:
- Better joint flexibility.
- Increased ROM.
- Reduced neck length
- Shorter taper (- 2 mm).
Materials
High nitrogen content stainless steel (ISO 5832-9).
Finishing: mirror finishing.

Straight Uncemented stem
- 135° and 125° CCD angle neck, mirror polished finishing and tapered geometry for increased ROM and decreased risk of impingement.
- Threaded extraction hole.
- Low trochanteric invasivity, easier insertion and reduced incision, especially with an anterior approach.
- Proximal trapezoid section resists axial torsional stresses and facilitates osseointegration.
- Vertical and horizontal grooves to increase the contact surface area and provide axial and rotational stability.
- Step geometry converts torsional stresses into compressive loads.
- Available in collared* or non-collared designs.
Materials
- Titanium alloy Ti 6Al 4V (ISO 5832-3).
- Finishing: HA coating.
Modular Stem
- 14 interchangeable necks to meet the patient’s real needs.
- Two modular neck lengths available.
- Standard version, 8° or 15° varus-valgus, 8° or 14° anteverted/retroverted, and four combined models.
- Reduced neck geometry.
Materials
Necks: cobalt chrome alloy (ISO 5832-12).
Stem: titanium alloy Ti 6Al 4V (ISO 5832-3).
Finishing: HA coating.

Collared Korus
- Collar increases rotational stability.
- Collar provides additional axial support and assist in achieving proximal loading.
- The size of the collar increases with the size of the stem.
Materials
Stem: titanium alloy Ti 6Al 4V (ISO 5832-3).
Finishing: HA coating.
Korus Titan
Materials
Proximal coating made of Titanium Y 367 APS (Air plasma Spray)
